CALVIN WILLIAMS, CLC 

Calvin Williams is President of Lucian Families Inc., a Cincinnati, Ohio-based company that provides training, program development and innovation strategies to community-based, private and public organizations serving fathers and families. As a Certified Lactation Counselor, Mr. Williams designs trainings and webinars on the father’s role in breastfeeding success. He is the Fatherhood Coordinator for the Hamilton County (Ohio) Department of Job and Family Services, where he leads the Fatherhood Collaborative of Hamilton County, and develops and implements intra-agency strategies to improve inclusion, engagement and services to fathers.

 

Mr. Williams is a co-author and Master Trainer for PREP Inc.’s “On My Shoulders” fatherhood curriculum, and is a consultant to the Mayerson Child Wellbeing Initiative, in Cincinnati. He provides ongoing training on father’s roles, and mental health in the perinatal period to the Healthy Families Massachusetts Statewide Home Visiting Program, and serves on the Father Friendly Public Policy committee for the Fathers Matter ATL initiative. Mr. Williams believes in the transformative power of fathers and fatherhood to heal, lead and facilitate better outcomes for children, families and communities.
